Monday Morning You Look So Fine: Patty & Mildred J. Hill

Today is Hunter Kennedy's birthday. Go maire tú an lá! And, knowing Hunter, sláinte! Since I wished his girlfriend this morning (as he was out like a candle from the night before) I have had the lyrics of the sisters Hill stuck in my head... let's hope I do not get into shit writing them here... apparently there are some serious copyright issues surrounding them:

"Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear [Hunter]
Happy birthday to you..." - Patty & Mildred J. Hill

Happy birthday Hunter. I am sure Springsteen has covered it at one time or another.

Monday Morning You Look So Fine: Foo Fighters

Just back from 9 Days in Cape Town... still in recovery. Good time spent with Pierre Lukraak and the Welgemoed/Belville/Durbanville Tripartite Alliance. Many loud sing-a-longs with the radio, the speaker of which occupies most of the boot of his car. We have realised that neither of us have the breath for this. As I said... good times.

"One last thing before I quit I never wanted any more than I could fit into my head I still remember every single word you said and all the shit that somehow came along with it still theres one thing that comforts me since I was always caged and now Im free..." - Foo Fighters

Monday Morning You Look So Fine: Jay-Z

Been busy; stuff coming, stuff been... Red Bull and B-Boys. This though, is reference to the back of a winner's t-shirt and a conversation with Elisma and Dom:

"If you're havin' girl problems I feel bad for you son,
I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one...

I got the rap patrol on the gat patrol,

Foes that wanna make sure my casket's closed.
Rap critics they say he's "Money Cash Hoes",

I'm from the hood stupid, what type of facts are those?

If you grew up with holes in ya zapatos

You'd be celebrating the minute you was havin' dough,

I'm like fuck critics you can kiss my whole asshole..."
- Jay-Z
